Amazon is offering 25 Days of free music. Log on every day to find out what new free song has been added. I just found out about this offer today. Day 15! The good news is that I can download all the songs that are shown for free. I picked out a few -- well, more than a few -- and downloaded them to iTunes on my MacBook. With the down-loader offered on Amazon, this is an easy process.

What free mp3 downloads did I not choose to put on my Christmas Music Playlist? Your Holiday Song by the Indigo Girls; Winter Games by Superchunk, Oh Come All Ye Faithful by Abandon Kansas, Auld Lang Syne by Chris Issak, Time of the Season performed by Isobel
Campbell and Mark Lanegan. Other songs not to my personal taste: Punk Rawk Christmas by MXPX and a song by Shelby Lynne. Just because I did not put them on my list, it does not mean you will not like these Holiday songs. Go give them a look and see if you can find something to get you in the Christmas Spirit.

Well, my sorority is having our Christmas Party this Saturday at 11 AM. I get to bring mimosas! It should be a lot of fun as we will be finding out who our "secret sister" has been for the last year. We draw names in January for a new secret "pal". This year, instead of bring a gift the month of or secret pal's birthday, we decided to have one big "birthday" party in July when everyone brings their pal a gift. Then at the Christmas party, we bring that same pal a present and tell her our name. It will be so much fun.

Just created a "Showcase" on Squidoo for my Zazzle shop.

I am curious about how it will help drive traffic to my shop on Zazzle, "Always Changing".

I love vintage images -- especially those that are black and white -- and try to find unique designs to use on greeting cards, magnets, t-shirts, invitations etc....

One image that I found is from an old advertisement for diamonds. I found a way to use it for wedding products (save the date cards, t-shirts for wedding party, stickers, magnets, etc).

The first card I created used the vintage image below:

I plan on ordering this card myself to send out at Thanksgiving!

Found this idea for decorating a Black Onesies

for Halloween! Avery has a bunch of creative ideas.

Supplies you need for this project:

Avery Personal Creations InkJet Iron-On Dark T-Shirt Transfers
- Avery or Microsoft Clip Art – pumpkin image
-Black Onesies

- Iron
- Fiskars^® scissors
- Fabric puffy paint

Instructions:

Using your favorite software, insert the pumpkin clip art and scale to about 5” depending upon the size of the bodysuit.

Insert text box over the pumpkin clip art and type in your text. Format the text box with no fill and no line. Flip or reverse image for ironing.

Print the pumpkin image onto Avery Dark T-Shirt transfers. Cut out the design with scissors.

Following the ironing directions on the Avery Dark T-shirt Transfers package, iron the image onto the bodysuit. Embellish the pumpkin with fabric puffy paint.

Hurray for Andy Rooney from a Woman Over 50!

A friend sent me an email with the following text. This very truthful text was spoken by Andy Rooney on the CBS show 60 Minutes. Mr. Rooney is now my hero.

As I grow in age, I value women over 50 most of all. Here are just a
few reasons why:

A woman over 50 will never wake you in the middle of the night and
ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think.

If a woman over 50 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit
around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's
usually more interesting.

Women over 50 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with
you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of
course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they
think they can get away with it.

Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what
it's like to be unappreciated.

Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to
a woman over 50.

Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 50 is far sexier
than her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest.. They'll tell you right off if
you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to
wonder where you stand with her.

Yes, we praise women over 50 for a multitude of reasons.
Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart,
well-coiffed, hot woman over 50, there is a bald, paunchy relic in
yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress.
Ladies, I apologize.

For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk
for free?Here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against
marriage.Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire
pig just to get a little sausage!
